The transition to a contemporary innovation model of economy, declared today as a key task for Russia is impossible without the diversification of forms and mechanisms of involving government into innovation processes, which largely depends on stage of national economic development and S&I sphere. Government should use a systemic approach to this problem: to participate in the financing of projects, to create demand for innovative products, to compensate the risks involved.
