Abstract:
This material is devoted to the analysis of the rate of participation in adult’s continuing education. The data source was open statistical data of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (2015-2019); information about the structure of the economy and investment activity in the Russian Federation; monitoring the implementation of national and federal projects in 2019. The rate of participation in adult’s formal or non-formal education and training in 2010-2019 has been considered. Considerable attention is paid to the consideration of the regional aspect. The authors present the dependence of employee involvement in lifelong learning with economic indicators of the development of Russian regions and governmental support. The groups of citizens learning in various professionals’ types from 2016 to 2019 is given.- There is an increase in the number of students in key social spheres (education, medicine) as well as in technological industries (Technosphere safety, electrical and power engineering, technology of shipbuilding and water transport, land transport, development).- The leadership of the Russian regions in the rate of participation in adult’s formal or non-formal education and training is due to the growth in the production of goods and services, as well as active participation in federal and regional programs for developing skills.
