The newsletter provides an analysis of federal educational initiatives for adults. These programs were launched and implemented in 2020-2021 in order to support employment of the population. The results of the implementation of three federal programs are considered: - a program of professional training and lifelong learning for people affected by the spread of coronavirus infection; - a program of professional training and lifelong learning of pre-retirees and pensioners (federal project "The Older Generation" of the national project "Demography"); - à program of professional training of the most vulnerable citizens ((federal project "Employment Promotion" of the national project "Demography"). The publication presents the distribution of students by age groups and types of economic activity. The authors presented a list of popular programs and competencies among various categories of citizens. The authors determined the relationship between the age of students and the results of their demonstration exam according to WorldSkills standards. This bulletin also presents the specifics of acquiring of competencies in universities and professional educational organizations.
