Abstract: The newsletter presents the research results of the modern Russian field of stock market training initiatives. This phenomenon is becoming particularly relevant to study, given that more than 24 million brokerage accounts have already been opened on the Moscow Stock Exchange. The report outlines the existing field of stock market training initiatives and suggests their classification. In total, 36 initiatives were identified and analyzed, as well as, 85 interviews and focus groups were conducted with people with experience in mastering relevant educational products, along with experts and representatives of the studied educational initiatives. Recommendations for improving the system of training to work in the stock market are proposed. The main conclusions from the research analysis: • three types of training providers are clearly distinguished: 1) largest educational centers, 2) large brokers and quasi-public players specializing in financial services, 3) small private initiatives; • educational centers and large brokers do not meet the existing training needs, an important niche is occupied by small educational initiatives. From the material presentation’s key points, two approaches can be distinguished: Exclusively technical training in the mechanisms of transactions (more typical for educational centers and large brokers) and substantial training, considering the place of the stock market in the modern economy ("agenda"), along with the development of technical skills (more typical for small private initiatives); • the programs most highly appreciated by respondents (including those with experience in mastering relevant educational products, in addition to experts and representatives of the studied educational initiatives) are aimed at substantial training of the "agenda"; • learning to work in the stock market gives effects that go beyond the narrow stock market, supporting entrepreneurial and, in general, proactive pathways of students. This effect may be essential in the context of the search for new tools for entrepreneurship developers (including among students).
