Journal of Mathematics, 2025, vol. 2025, 1-14

Abstract: In this paper, several fixed point results of expanding mappings in the extended abstract metric spaces are established with nonsolid cones. The definitions of Cauchy sequences, convergent sequences, and completeness in the nonsolid extended abstract metric spaces are reintroduced. We prove that the fixed points exist in these spaces by deleting the continuity assumption. The main results extend many existing theorems in the reference. As a consequence, we present several examples to demonstrate that our results apply to both solid cones and nonsolid cones.
