Abstract: Let A,∗,0 be a d-algebra. The main focus of this article is to introduce the concept of a homoderivation as a self-map of A that merges structural aspects of homomorphisms and derivations and then characterizes its relationship with a standard derivation of A. In addition, we will discuss several interesting properties related to regular homoderivations, fixed sets, kernels, and others. Finally, we will show that the set of all homoderivations on a d-algebra A with the composition operation “°†as well as the operation “∧†forms a semigroup. Throughout our discussions, we will provide numerous illustrative examples as well as counterexamples to justify the hypotheses stated in our theorems.
