Mathematical Problems in Engineering, 2022, vol. 2022, 1-7

Abstract: In this paper, we consider the jet engine vibration system. With the help of the homotopy perturbation method (HPM), we solve the jet engine vibration (JEV) equation, which is a second-order nonlinear differential equation in the presence of damping and external forces. We compare the results with the corresponding numerical method to show the efficiency and reliability of this method. The findings demonstrate how well HPM works as a solution to these concerns, and it is anticipated that HPM will be used in a variety of new problems.
