Abstract: 本コラムでは、夫の引退が妻のメンタルヘルスにどのような影響を及ぼすかという点について、先行研究や筆者自身の研究に基づいて簡単に議論する。日本の統計でも、「引退夫症候群」は確認されるが、結果は妻のライフスタイルにも左右される。, This column succinctly explores the impact of a husband’s retirement on his wife’s mental health. It draws on findings from prior studies and the author’s own research. The phenomenon known as “retired husband syndrome" is evident in governmental data from Japan, although it varies according to the wife’s lifestyle.
