Abstract: Die evolutionõre Modellierung sozialer und ÷konomischer Zusammenhõnge ist gegenwõrtig stark von der biologischen Evolutionstheorie geprõgt. Der vorliegende Beitrag unternimmt eine ÷konomische Intepretation der Evolutionskomponenten Selektion und Mutation. Ausgehend von den Besonderheiten sozialer Modelle und aufbauend auf der von Maynard Smith und Price (1973) entwickelten "evolutionarily stable strategy" (ESS) wird hier ein neues Stabilitõtskonzeopt, die "Critical Mass-ESS" (CR), vorgestellt.
