Abstract: Ausgehend von Geoffrey Hodgsons The Evolution of Evolutionary Economics setzt sich dieser Beitrag mit den Grundlagen des biologischen Ansatz der evolutorischen Íkonomik sowie der nicht-biologischen Variante dieser Theorie auseinander. Dabei wird insbesondere auf das Problem der Reprõsentation und das Konzept des freien Willens, auf Computer und Schachspiel eingegangen.
