Degree of Internationalization (DOI) and Performance Relationship: An Empirical and Conceptual Approach

Abstract: The main goal of this paper is present a conceptual and empirical review about degree of internationalization (DOI) and performance relationship. In the first part of the paper the conceptual basis about DOI and performance are explained. In the second part the five models of DOI and performance relationship are described. In the third part is shown the empirical evidence about this phenomenon during the last years. In the last part some gaps of the literature are described.
