Abstract:
The goal of this research was to determine the relative contribution of an individual’s personality traits and motives and their interactions with a person’s willingness to take risks in a business environment. The test sample was made up of managers from different hierarchical positions with varied work experiences (N = 172; 55% male). For this research Hogan’s battery tests were chosen.The results of the regression analysis suggest that personality traits and motives are important predictors for willingness to take risks.
