Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the economic growth in general as well as in Romania, trying to highlight the elements that stand at the foundation of this process. The beneficial effect of the growth process, resulted in the improvement of living standards and the need to implement measures to improve this process in our country, were decisive elements that led to an improvement in the standard of living of the individual.
