Abstract: Relying on the general management theory the article covers the issues of economic security as one of the factors in the whole system of national security. It has been proved that the interaction of economic and non-economic social and cultural factors in the lives of socio-economic formations may be correlated with the integrated control / weapon structure proposed by the general management theory. The hierarchy of the integrated management tools / weapons priorities is such that ensuring of the national economic security is the result of integrated management tools / weapons of higher priority. The latter requires building up a policy that would cover all priorities of the generalized management tools / weapons. Although the economic security plays an important role in the integrated system of national security since all aspects of life require economic support, yet this role is not crucial since looking at the processes within the historic long period of time the possibility of conducting of a particular economic policy by the state depends on the informational and algorithmic provision of its activity, i.e. those sociological and economic views that prevail among the 'political elite' and ones formed in the past.
