SWOT Analysis of Automation for Cash and Accounts Control in Construction

Abstract:
The possibility has been analyzed as to computerization of control over accounting and information systems data in terms of cash and payments in company practical activity provided that the problem is solved of the existence of well-functioning single computer network between different units of a developing company. Current state of the control organization and possibility of its automation has been observed. SWOT analysis of control automation to identify its strengths and weaknesses, obstacles and prospects for construction company development has been carried-out. A number of obstacles to automation control has been found including: high cost of implementing a special add-on modules, functions, new software, lack of appropriate domestic regulatory framework that would comprehensively address automated accounting and control issues. Proposals have been made as to improvement of control automation at the legislative level, focusing on the modules and functions, such as 'Accounting Quick Check', and development of a single computer network between the construction company units.
