Abstract:
European integration processes in Ukraine necessitate the more active development of agrarian insurance, which is one of the tools for increasing the competitiveness and financial safety of agrarian enterprises, whose production activity is characterized by a variety of risks associated with the specifics of agricultural activity. The purpose of the article is to analyze the development of agrarian insurance in Ukraine in the context of European integration processes and to identify priority tasks for its revitalization taking into account the experience of the EU member states. The analysis of the state of the normative and legal support of domestic agricultural insurance is carried out. The peculiarities of agrarian insurance in the countries of the European Union are revealed. It was revealed that the expansion of the opportunities of domestic agricultural producers to enter the world and European markets, will increase their interest in agrarian insurance in order to equalize the competitive positions in the economic environment. The development of the insurance market will be in line with the nationwide program of reforming the economy and society as a whole, stimulating the processes of clearing the market of financial intermediaries based on the perception of European experience.
