Ensuring the Financial Stability of Insurance Companies

Abstract: Insurance is an important and indispensable element of financial support for the development of economy. However, to effectively perform their functions, insurance companies should pay due attention to supporting the adequate level of their financial stability. The purpose of the article is to assess the factors affecting the provision of financial stability of insurance companies in conditions of risky environment of their activity. The essence of financial stability of insurance companies was considered from three positions: mathematical, economic and legal. The processes of activity of insurance companies were determined, which depend on the level of ensuring their financial stability. The influence of the tariff policy on the financial stability of insurance companies was proved. The dependence between the tariff policy, client policy and efficiency of internal business processes of insurance companies was shown. The analysis of the factors influencing financial stability of the insurance companies was carried out. It was revealed that the financial stability of insurers mainly depends on internal factors in the medium and long term, and also takes into account the existing tariff policy of the financial institution.
