Abstract:
This paper presents the results of a comparative study on living conditions in rural communities and municipalities in the central desert of Coahuila Mexico. We aim to contribute to existing government support programs with a more holistic approach and corresponding to the realties found. The study is exploratory. Descriptive methods used correspond to qualitative and quantitative research. The results show matching elements in living conditions between urban and rural communities, as well as elements that make the difference in such living conditions.
