Abstract:
The economic development of nations is based on its production plant, which requires trained professionals to achieve competitiveness among companies. However with more frequency young professionals face a cruel reality, where they find difficulties in offering professional services. Reasons this occurs is examined through a survey applied in the most important companies in the state of Coahuila, Mexico. The results were analyzed from the point of view of entrepreneurs toward universities by personnel recruiters. In addition, some information was obtained from production managers. The variables are divided into two groups, the first, recruitment & selection, the second is the experience gained in hiring. We identify areas of opportunity for improvements.
