Abstract:
The man-nature generated during some production processes has caused environmental degradation. Poor agricultural management practices and water resources, excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides, and uncontrolled dumping of harmful wastes, give rise to erosion and desertification of soil. Some 70% of soils have problems of degradation in different levels, from mild to extreme. Of the remaining soil, some 18% are desert and unproductive land, and only 12% maintain productive activities without apparent degradation. As a contribution to recovery, enrichment and preservation of agricultural land, the business of production and marketing of organic fertilizer is proposed. The study consisted of seven stages, starting with market research, a technical study, the legal aspect, organizational and one fundamental to this project, economic studies and financial economic evaluation. The results show that the solid organic fertilizer "Bocashi" is likely to be produced and marketed. It is attributed to the ability to recover, enrich and preserve agricultural land features. Profitability indicators reveal a NPV of $162,504.80 pesos, IRR 19% and R B / C yields 1.60, ensuring the economic viability of the project. Implementation requires a total investment of $247,219.35 pesos
