Abstract:
Trust is a tangible asset in any group or organization. It affects, consolidates and defines the quality of interpersonal relationships, communication and organizational projects. The objective of this research consists of identifying and analyzing the impact that distrust can generate in the dynamics of family business. We designed and administered a questionnaire under the Likert scale to 68 employees that are part of family business and work in the business of such families. The results show that existence of distrust among the members of the business family impacts negatively on the information flows, transparency, communication, expression of new ideas, collaboration and in general the quality of the organizational dynamic of the family business
