Revista Global de Negocios, 2017, vol. 5, issue 8, 87-98

Abstract: Since 2014, the Mexican Tributary System began a transition towards the digitization of its services. This transition caused severe impacts on professionals in accounting. Technological skills to carry out their work have changed. These technological abilities have already been successfully detected and have been classified according to the cleverness required. In this paper, each one was evaluated to identify the percentage of knowledge they have and the technological training needs they require. The identified profile is: a woman under 30 years of age; single; with a bachelor's degree in accounting; knows the Fiscal Code of the Federation including the chapter of the electronic means; uses a computer and internet to develop their professional work every day. Between 85% and 100% develop basic and intermediate technological capabilities. As for advanced technological capabilities, 21% do not know how to upgrade Java for the operation of software provided by the SAT; 15% do not know how to use the Advanced Electronic Signature; 15% do not know how to review the technical characteristics of their computer equipment; 30% do not know how to create and deliver a tax report on the SAT web portal. Finally, 94% want to train in the area of Information Technology
