Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the efficient use of water in agricultural activity in the San Quintín Valley, Baja California, through the study of the water management dimension use for the allocation of water resources for agricultural production that meets international requirements. The San Quintín Valley, Baja California, is an agricultural area of great importance in the production of vegetables, with approximately 90% exported. San Quintín valley faces problems of water availability due to overexploited wells. Current San Quintín Valley water management demonstrates the need to develop strategies that utilizes innovative agricultural activities in Mexico with efficient use of water that increases the competitiveness of agricultural companies in the region
