Abstract: Analysis of the current economic and fiscal situation of a segment of the population that receives income from different concepts and are subject to different taxes. These taxes cause this segment to lose economic competitiveness and result in a reduction in equity. This paper reviews concerns related to the Revenue Budget of the Federation for the year 2020. We also compare it with previous years (a period of six years) under another administration. The goal is an evaluation of macroeconomic results, especially of the financial performance of the country. The Economic Package for fiscal year 2020 aims to sustain the commitment of the Government of Mexico to maintain discipline and prudence of fiscal policy. According to this package, measures are proposed to strengthen tax revenues (collection), maintaining the commitment not to increase existing taxes or create new taxes, until demonstrating better efficiency in the exercise of public spending. Exercising public spending in accordance with austerity guidelines is maintained with strict criteria of transparency, efficiency, effectiveness and redistribution of wealth
