Abstract:
This research was carried out through an empirical, descriptive and correlational analysis of 11 Mipymes of tourism in San Francisco de Campeche, Campeche, in the first semester of 2017. The goal is to assess economic aspects of financial statements at the end of the 2016. More specifically, we examine financial leverage and its effect on profitability. The results show that if an organization increases its debt it can increase financial profitability. The analysis is based on linear correlation between indicators of financial profitability and indebtedness of the 11 organizations. Results produce a fairly reliable result with an R2 of 0.764
