Abstract: Human Capital is paramount to achieving a good working environment and allows companies to be competitive. Thus, they need to promote the satisfaction of their staff. The objective of this study is to examine work satisfaction of workers from a company in the commercial sector of Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico. The methodology is quantitative, descriptive-comparative type. The sample includes 133 workers. The instrument used is based on Spector's Job Satisfaction Survey (1985); Cronbach's Alpha equaled 0952. We conclude the workers feel at ease and proud of the work they do. They appreciate recognition they receive for their performance coming from both their peers and their superiors
