Abstract:
Enterprise Public Relations (RPE) provides an interface within any organization and its stakeholders. RPE seeks to create credibility and trust. This paper presents the process of introducing Enterprise Public Relations to institutions of higher education. The Escuela Superior y Fundación Universitaria ESERP de Barcelona successful introduced the RPE to work with its stakeholders in crisis situations. The Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila, Unidad Torreón en su Facultad de ContadurÃa y Administración is working to introduce RPE with the objective to built trust, and credibility in today’s Mexico economic and social crisis. The Role of RPE is analyzed in the presence of the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) and globalization.
