Abstract: This paper presents a study of strategy implementation in the small construction company sector of Puebla. The goal is to understand the particularities of small companies and the possible threats, opportunities, markets in which products are targeted and the types of strategies used. A questionnaire was administered to a sample of 44 small businesses that participate in this study. The research answers the following questions: What are the characteristics of small construction companies located in the State of Puebla? What are the strategies implemented by small construction companies to survive in the market?
