Abstract:
Cancun is a paradise destination that invites visitors to linger. It is rich in contrasts, with peace, tranquility and joy that only a region such as this can provide. The speed and intensity with which Cancun has developed has led to increasing migration. People who are displaced from their places of origin flock to tourist sites and settle in them indefinitely, working as tour guides. This research aims to identify the perception of United States tourists when they are attended by a guide of the same nationality. The methodology is a quantitative type through a factorial analysis. The scope of the study is to identify the main elements of assessment arising in the transduction of the services provided by the guides to American tourists, to improve the quality in the service and thus become more competitive.
