Abstract: This paper aims to determine the factors affecting tourism demand of Mexico in the US market. The econometric results show the main factor affecting the demand for tourism in Mexico is the prices of the destinations countries. Similarly, it was found that the variable tourism demand of residents of the United States to Mexico have significant common cycle with variable relative wealth. This explains that in the short term wealth of Americans is a determining factor in the demand for tourism to Mexico.
