The Role of Social Media in Developing Social Responsibility and Political Awareness of Jordanian Youth

Abstract:
This study aimed at exploring the role of social media in developing social responsibility and political awareness of the Jordanian youth, where the researcher adopted the descriptive analytical methodology, by developing a specific questionnaire as a study tool. The study sample consisted of (200) students from Philadelphia University with all education levels for the academic years (2016-2017). The results showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) of the role of social media in developing social responsibility and political awareness of the Jordanian youth.Â
