New Procedures in the Museums: The Communication Through Immersive Technologies

Abstract: In the relationship between technologies and museum, a particular attention is to be reserved to the role of immersive technologies in the planning of the museum experience, to the opportunities for the innovation of the museum concept in the development of the visit experience and to the effects that such innovations might have in the enhancement process of museums. In this article a short examination of the studies on the museum experience is presented, hereafter the results of a case study The Archeologic Museum of Olbia are accounted.
