Effects of Safety Climate, Safety Attitude, and Safety Performance on Firm Performance: A Study of an Automobile Firm

Abstract: This study investigates the relationship between safety climate, safety attitude and firm performance and the mediating effects of safety performance. The study is based on the 102 respondents from an automobile manufacturing plant operating in Haryana, India. Regression analysis was used to assess the relationship between independent, mediating, and dependent variables. The results of our study supported the framed hypotheses. Safety performance mediated between safety climate and firm performance, safety attitude and firm performance.
