Senior Entrepreneurship in Lebanon: Determinants of Intentions

Abstract: This study investigates the determinants of the senior-entrepreneurial intentions in Lebanon. It is based on the analysis of 50 comprehensive interviews with senior Lebanese entrepreneurs that were used to identify 21 preliminary determinants of senior-entrepreneurial intentions in Lebanon. In addition to this qualitative component, this study also draws on theories about determinants of intention to elaborate its first model. To test the validity of the first model, a questionnaire was distributed among Lebanese seniors. The answers of 1,142 respondents allowed us to elaborate a final model of the determinants of entrepreneurial intentions among seniors in Lebanon.
