Impact of Application of Data Mining in the Lebanese Banking Sector

Abstract: This study aims at showing the level of implementing concepts and tools of data mining in the banking sector in Lebanon in addition to its constituent domains. The researchers adopt the descriptive-analytical method which is based on a questionnaire distributed on the society of the study. The researchers found that there is an interest in applying concepts of data mining in managing operations in the Lebanese banking sector. The researchers concluded that there is difference among the respondents’ opinions regarding applying concepts of data mining in managing operations in Lebanese banks as related to difference in experience, in job levels and in qualifications.
