The Role of the University of Jordan in Promoting the Principles of Good Citizenship for its Students and How to Implement them

Abstract: The citizenship is the fact that a person , for a family or a group, to be officially recognized as a citizen, that is to say a member of a city with the status of city , or more generally of a State .There is no citizenship in general, even though many personalities have claimed to be world citizens or cosmopolitan . This study aims to investigate the role of the University of Jordan in promoting the principles of good citizenship for its students and how to implement them. A well-designed online questionnaire developed and used to collect primary data and the statistical analysis has been applied to get the results. The results revealed that the sample students’ agree that the University of Jordan has high percent in promoting the principles of good citizenship for its students for all of political, social and economical values.
