Disadvantages of Control Chart in Printing Quality Control over Solder Paste and Strategies for Improvement

Chen Peng, Kenny Liu and Xiaohui Gu

Modern Applied Science, 2010, vol. 4, issue 7, 111

Abstract: Control chart is one kind of the most common and effective tools for SPC quality control, however, it is not infallible for ever. The results of actual data processing have proved that the conventional control chart may educe the opposite conclusions to other evaluating methods in some special cases. For solving the above problems, we use Bayes theory to introduce proper ‘correction coefficient’ to amend the control parameters so that the control limit is more accurate and the judgment is more reasonable and reliable.
