Abstract:
This paper aims to structure a synoptic image of the expenditure at European Union level from the EU Budget by correlating with the financial flows between EU and Romania, in order to prove a false widespread public idea that Romania contributes to EU accounts with more money than it receives back. Hence, it concludes that Romania is a net beneficiary in relation to EU budget with a positive balance of approx. 15 billion euro by mid-2014.
