Abstract:
Learning leads subjects to significantly improve the performance at the evolution of the game. This is related to the effect usually named as ‘learning by doing’. Taking the proposition of Camerer and Weber as to how the efficiency of a firm’s merger is influenced by organizational culture, this paper explains how a particular kind of specialization increases the efficiency of a team for an organizational task. The authors discuss the results of their experiments on organizational and individual learning in terms of cognitive economic literature on learning.
