Abstract: Este trabajo analiza la interacción entre las actividades de aprendizaje desarrolladas por la empresa y la implantación de nuevas tecnologías, la existencia de complementariedades y la influencia que tienen sobre los resultados empresariales. A partir de estas relaciones, se plantea un modelo teórico que se contrasta mediante una encuesta realizada a empresas de distintos sectores económicos. La evidencia empírica indica que no existe una relación clara entre los resultados de la empresa y determinadas actividades de aprendizaje ni con la introducción de tecnologías. Sin embargo, parece apoyar la existencia de complementariedades entre estos dos factores que determinan la influencia conjunta sobre los resultados empresariales. / This research analyses the interaction between learning activities developed by the firm and the implementation of new technologies, the existence of complementarities and the influence that they have in firrn performance. On the base of these relations, we develop a theoretical model, which is tested constructing a questionnaire to survey a sample offirms. The empirical evidence shows that a strong relationship between the firm results and some learning activities cannot be clearly established and neither does with the implementation of technologies. However, it shows the existence of some complementarities between these last two factors that determine the joint influence on firm performance.
