Abstract: In the paper the prospects of using the economic analysis of law for solving problems of the development and improvement of the education system of Ukraine are analyzed. The urgency of the implementation of the Education Code of Ukraine is grounded. The main condition for overcoming the barriers to the introduction of the Code, specifically - building a coalition of interests of actors of the education system is formulated.
