Abstract: In this paper are highlighted the importance of information support of decision making in the management of the reproduction of the intellectual potential of the regional society. The functions of the regional information system for the process of reproduction of the intellectual potential of society were highlighted. An algorithm for constructing maps of the intellectual potential of the regional society are made. A simple thematic maps on phases of reproduction and generalized map of the intellectual potential of society Donetsk region were built.
