Abstract: The paper discloses the essence, types and monitoring tasks of the fiscal system. The role of monitoring and means of practical application to ensure financial stability is discussed. A process monitoring and indicator monitoring are distinguished. The appropriateness of their introduction in fiscal legislation is grounded.
