Abstract: In today's investment environment are the most important means of ensuring the conditions out of the prevailing economic crisis, structural shifts in the economy, the provision of technical progress, improvement of quality indicators of economic activity at all levels. In this regard, the article offers an analysis of the level of foreign direct investment at the current stage and the search for ways to enhance the investment process as one of the most effective mechanisms of social and economic transformation.
