Abstract: This paper reviews the status and prospects of the Middle Ural industrial complex using cluster initiatives of the regional Association of industrialists and businessmen of Sverdlovsk region. The experience of the Urals in development of a comprehensive growth program for the industry of Sverdlovsk region until 2020, which part is the Concept and Program of implementation of cluster policy in the region, is generalized and represented.
