Abstract: The article analyzes the uneven economic space of Ukraine on the basis of the concept of convergence. The analysis confirms the strengthening of regional development imbalances, which can lead to slower economic growth and demonstrates the need for the formation mechanisms of smoothing the impact of external shocks on economic dynamics.
