Abstract: The BI technology is most useful in a time when the changes of economic situation are fast and break down old patterns of management tools. If the business is not working as usual, the only resource is the data. Objective problem with BI is that companies need to develop analytical system for as long as it does not provide a certain strategic utility. For a company it is measured by the financial resources and time.
