Abstract: The article studies interaction of inequality of distribution of income and economic growth in correspondence with evolution of concepts of economic development. It is shown that economic growth, as a criterion of economic development, corresponds with conceptual foundations of stable development. The body of indicators of stable development at a regional level is formed.
