Methodical approaches to identification of competitiveness of economy of the regional dairy-product subcomplex

Abstract: The article considers methodical approaches to identification of competitiveness of economy of the regional dairy-product subcomplex. It conducts a multi-factor correlation and regression analysis of dependence of the volume of milk production by oblast districts and volume of milk sales by oblast districts. 21 factors were used for this analysis. It develops and tests a model of identification of competitiveness of milk production in Kharkiv oblast districts. The method has its advantages: possibility to use an unlimited number of factors with consideration of statistical parameters of the regression equation; accessibility of data for analysis and availability of indicators in the state statistical reports.
