Logistics Management of a City as a Priority Tool of Ensuring Stable Development of Cities

Abstract: The article substantiates a necessity to apply logistics management as a priority tool of ensuring stable development of a city. It studies an essential characteristic of logistics management of a city and analyses existing approaches to its understanding. It determines functions, methods of logistics management of a city and also specific features of management of primary and secondary flows of a city, which would allow ensuring its stable development. It formulates priority directions of management of primary and secondary flows of a city.
